In Loving Memory of Taneisha Gist of the Piedmont Triad region of the Carolinas commonly known to our people as the Tre 4, a voice for women who battles with cancerand herself fought cancer and everything that comes with it since late 2017; Taneisha made her transition on the rising of the seventeenth day of the eight month in the year of our Lord, 2024 Anno Domini her date of Nativity was on Thankgiving day on the 22nd Day of the 11th Month in the year of our Lord 1984.

Taneisha also was a published author of the Children’s book, Different... But Just Like You And Me, a book about a mom who explains the different developments of the children her child encounters at school on a daily basis. It explains them in an easy way for the child to understand.

According to the family the Homegoing Service for Taneisha will be as follow Friday’s Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM EST along the Monarcas Creek at Douthit Funeral Services (515 Specialty Park Dr. Winston-Salem, NC 2105) on Holy Day (Friday 8/23/24). ON Saturday on the 24th day of the 8th Month in the year of our Lord 2024 Anno Domini, the viewing will be at Galilee Missionary Bapist Church 4129 North Hampton Dr. W-S, NC 27105 from 11 to 12 pm followed by the service. It is recommended for the General Public to wear white and for the Family to wear Pink and White.

The family is asking for all proceeds to be sent to Heaven’s College Fund $h3avengist, who is a senior at Mount Tabor High School.
