Transportation is a 700 Billion Dollar Industry. Ground Up Distribution provides education on levels of entry.

Transportation is an ever-growing business in the United States. One reason as to why the transportation business is at its peak now is because of the global pandemic, COVID-19. Companies depend on trucking businesses to supply them with resources that are in high demand for consumers, especially in these desperate times. Many Americans were and still may be depending on unemployment or the highly talked about stimulus checks given as aid from the government. However, Americans cannot bank on these resources to give them a helping hand forever. As we can see, the United States is slowly but surely beginning to place our economy back on track. The trucking industry is a business that citizens may want to start investing into.

According to Forbes, “Trucking is a $700 billion market.” It is stated that the trucking market in the United States “runs to more than $500 billion a year.” It is not hard to imagine what dispatchers are collecting annually as well. To give another example of how relevant the trucking business is right now, famous rapper Lil Durk recently started his own trucking and realty business. Durk explained how “A lot of rappers come here talking that big boy stuff if rap stopped right now a lot of y’all would be broke (hiphopdx.com).” Trucking is becoming a staple industry in our rapidly growing economy.  One could almost look at trucking as being at the “top of the food chain.”

Ground Up Distribution, a freight brokerage company, was founded in 2020. The company specializes in dispatch management for Carriers and Less-Than-truckload, Intermodal, and Full Truckload for Shippers. The biggest key factor of Ground Up Distribution is the education that is provided to people who want to start work in the industry. It offers a dispatch training course that teaches on how to “get people’s feet wet in the trucking business.” From this course, students are taught how to enter a $700 billion market. To become a dispatcher, there are no requirements except for being educated in the industry. Get this, a CDL is not even necessary. Ground Up Distribution’s mission is to, “create job opportunities in our communities and provide efficient services for our customers.” For more information regarding Ground Up Distribution visit www.groundupdistribution.com.
